Nick had to work, so Katie came down to hang out with Emily and Lyla. We went to visit the Jarrett twins...


...then we continued south to Green Lake and walked the entire loop (it feels like a lot longer than 2.8 miles!). It was a beautiful day and the whole city was out enjoying the weather.


After the long walk Mom was beat.

Lyla Sleeps Like a Rock

This weekend Lyla went on her first camping trip. She spent most of the time asleep, but that didn't keep us from taking her on our adventures. Here's Nick trying out his new wakeboard while Lyla sleeps in her Moby wrap. Yes, that's Lyla under the bright yellow hat. We did a great job keeping the crazy hot sun off of her. :)

Out on the town

Lyla came with us on a Friday night date to Red Robin. After looking around for quite a while she fell fast asleep. We decided to be brave and see if her nap would last through a movie...no luck. About 50 minutes into Wolverine she got restless and cranky. We'll have to catch the ending another time. :( It was worth a try.
