Aunt Katie and Uncle Nathaniel came by for a visit. Katie stayed for the day and helped with cleaning and cooking...thanks KT!!!
Lyla also took a long nap on Uncle Mark. She has developed the bad habit of ONLY sleeping if she is resting on someone. We have tried the crib several times and all we get is a lot of "squaking", as dad likes to say. As soon as Mom can get up and about more easily we will devote more time to helping her break this habit. 
My kids had a hard time laying flat on their backs and we found something that works: the carseat. We put a blanket in it first, then the baby all wrapped up and maybe another blanket over them and they slept really well that way. They liked being propped up.
