She was telling me "no" but I kept trying. I want her to enjoy learning about taste, so I'll be better at following her cues in the future. :) We've given her peas a few times since and she is warming up to them.
She doesn't really know how to say no...she is just responding to not wanting that stuff in her mouth and it came out as a shake of the head. I really like these food videos too.
