The Chicken Coop is Finished!

The chickens have officially moved outside! Hip hip hooray! Three cheers for an amazing husband who was able to build such an amazing coop without any plans...he just started building and this is what we ended up with.
I LOVE IT!




It only took them one night sleeping on the floor of the coop to realize the stick was for them to roost on.

They will start laying in September. Here is our entrance into their nesting boxes.


Here are our 4 little ladies all together.

They love eating the grass...good little lawn mowers.


Now we just have to decide on names. We'll let you know as soon as we decide. Yahoo for chickens!!!!

    Emily I love it. I buy farm fresh eggs for 2.25 a dozen really want a coop. So thanks for showing me it can be done. Holly tells me things from time to time about her sisters words of wisdom.
